After breakfast leave the hotel and drive to Wilpattu. Make a wild life safari in Wilpattu which is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka. Wilpattu is home for Sri Lankan Sloth Bear which is very rare to find, and also Sri Lankan Leopard.
After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. Visit sacred places in Anuradhapura (1982 UNESCO).Anuradhapura, a Ceylonese political and religious capital that flourished for 1,300 years. The city has exposure as a sacred place for Buddhists all over the world, resulting the city is built around a planted secret Bo branch of the “tree of enlightenment”, the Buddha's fig tree. Breakfast in the hotel in Nilaveli. Make a day excursion to the beautiful Pigeon Island (Seasonal: July – August) .
Of course it has got its name because pigeon population residing happily there. These pigeons are similar to the feral pigeon and are called rock pigeons; it is a rocky island after all. In addition to being the home to these wild bird Pigeon Island is also a marine national park. It is best known for diving (Ahoy all you snorkelers out there!) and is not far from the shore of Trincomalee, with only a 20 minute journey from Nilaveli Beach.
Breakfast in the white sandy beach in Nilaveli and leave for Cultural Triangle. Check in to the hotel and in the afternoon tour around the Medieval Capital of Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa (1982 UNESCO) sacred city Which Is recorded as the second capital in Sri Lanka after Anuradhapura. Polonnaruwa has more Historical, cultural and archeological value than religious.
Breakfast in the hotel and visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (1982 UNESCO), which is world famous for its wall arts and the Mysterious irrigation system through the hard rock. Also Sigiriya is surrounded by a greenery land adding a more beauty to the huge fortress.
In the afternoon leave to visit Dambulla cave temple(1991 UNESCO) .This cave monastery sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries and it is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Drive back to the hotel and evening relaxing in the hotel.
After breakfast leave for the Kandy and en-route visit the spice garden in Matale. Continue to the Kandy. Check in to the hotel. In the afternoon do a city tour in Kandy, visit orient market place, gem shops, Temple of Tooth Relic and in the evening enjoy a cultural show.
After breakfast leave for Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This place is the largest herd of captive Elephants in the world is a place where provide Protection and the nurture for lost baby elephants. Now some of them has grown in the orphanage and Now lucky to see their grandchildren on the place. Continue to Negombo and check in to the hotel.
